80 mile beach

Countless number of shells on an endless beach.

On the road again

Worth the drive

At last a fire and nights are warmer at Pardoo homestead. Inland is so
cold at night. If the stations offer camping it is a great way to go.
The mining activity is so astonishing, you really need to see it to
have any understanding.
We are away 4 weeks, chicken feed.
We met a family of 4 from tassie that are on the road for a year,
camping...
Another family of 3 for 10 months...
Another family of 9 relocating to kunarra for work from qld, been on
the road for a few weeks.

The shed on the left is the refueling station. The tank holds 4000lt
and only lasts 24 hrs.

Wouldn't want the conveyor belt number 1126 to fail....

Not the bird poo on the shoulder after we just did our third washing
load.

Karajini NP

But Bridget was determined to swim in all of them.

And climb as far she could until there was no path left.

Yes she did go in this one, just.

Water is quite cold

Millstream

This is a most beautiful area, no wind, few people and a place to swim
in fresh water.

$18 a night. We have entered the mining areas, where the activity never ceases.

Minderoo horses

This one is called gunsmoke.

A horse ride off into the sunset which are as red as the amazing soil
that is all around us

Ashburton River

10 mile pool on the ashburton.

Further upstream near K tree bore.

They haven't had enough rain for it to flow in years.

Lunch

Not a bad lunch spot, but also turns out to be a turtle nesting area.
We are now bush camping in the Ningaloo national park. That will be a
good look after 2 days.

We made it to Coral Bay today. Worth every km. The blow holes just north of Carnarvon were quite impressive.
